This is actually my car and I was very surprised to see how many kayaks I could fit on top of the car. So, I'll tell you what I did to make this happen, what are the dimensions and how to tie it down properly. So the roof rack I have on the Prius v is the Inno Aero roof rack with the 54 inch long crossbars and the Through feet. So you can use this with other types of crossbars too, if your crossbars are not longer than 54 inches though or if you have kayaks that are wider than mine this might not work out as well for you. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Toyota Forerunner, we're going to be test-fitting a Malone Seawing kayak carrier with tie-downs, part number MPG107MD. The Seawing is a V-shaped, saddle style kayak carrier that enables you to carry up to one kayak on your roof and leaves enough space that if you wanted to purchase another Seawing, you could carry at least dual kayaks on your roof, as well, or have other accessories such as bike racks on the other side. It includes all the necessary tie-downs to secure this to both the carrier itself and your roof rack.And the straps for the kayak do come with this protective material underneath the buckle to protect the hull of your kayak, to make sure it doesn't get scratches or anything like once it's being installed. There is padding on the saddles themselves to also protect your hull, and of course, it does come with the balance string and tie-downs, as well.This is a rear-loading style of kayak carrier. It does recommend that, once you're loading this up, to at least keep some sort of padding or protective material for the roof of your vehicle while you're loading this up. But once you get it onto the initial cradle up at the front or saddle up at the front, it just simply pushes into place with ease.Now, with our kayak off, our saddles are made from a very durable plastic material, and they also have these Jaws universal mounts, and this is how they're going to secure to your roof rack system. more

With our Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on the Tacoma, we'll begin our test fit by grabbing the front half of our carrier, placing it onto our front load bar. We'll be sure to bring the black rubber coated metal straps around the underside of our load bar. We'll then fit the strap into the foot of the carrier, and tighten the gray knob on the front to secure it in place. With both straps tight, the front half of our carrier is secure. We'll now grab the rear half, place it onto our rear load bar. We'll take a quick look to be sure we have it centered with the front, then we'll repeat the same tightening process that we used for the front. To load up our paddle board, we first need to release our straps. more

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2014 Toyota Camry- Video

Today on our 2014 Toyota Camry, we'll be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi stand up paddle board carrier with a 2-board capacity, part number TH810. With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack already installed in our Camry, we'll place the front carrier on the front bar. We will secure it using the rubber strap. Locking it in place and tightening it down with a thumb screw on front of the carrier. We'll then move to the driver side and repeat the process. After the front is secured, we can move to the rear of the vehicle and repeat those steps. more

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2014 Toyota Sienna- Video

Today, on our 2014 Toyota Siena, we're going to be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi, stand up paddle board carrier with a two-board capacity, part number TH810. With our Thule Rapid Crossroads roof rack system already installed on the Siena, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front hamper of our carrier under our front load bar. We'll bring both of the black rubber coated metal straps on the under side of the load bar and clip the one closest to the front of the carrier. We'll then turn the gray knob locate on the front to secure our strap around our bar. Now, make our way around to the driver side to repeat that same tightening process. With the front half of our carrier secure, we'll now grab the rear half, place it under our rear load bar. Again, we're going to bring those straps around the under side of the load bar then we'll fit the one closest to us under the foot of the carrier. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Yaris, we're going to be test fitting the Thule SUP taxi, a stand-up paddleboard carrier with a two-board capacity, part number TH810. With our Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system already installed on the Yaris, we'll begin our test fit by grabbing the front half of our carrier and placing it onto our front load bar. We'll bring the black rubber-coated metal straps around the underside of our load bar, fit both of them into the head of our carrier, and secure it by tightening down the gray knobs. With our front half secure, we'll now grab our rear half. Again, bring the black rubber-coated metal straps around the underside of our load bar. We'll fit just the passenger side into the foot. We'll then take a quick look to be sure we have both halves of our carrier in line with each other. We will then repeat the same tightening process that we used for the front. We're now ready to load up our board. more

Today, on our 2013 Toyota Venza we will be test fitting the Thule Sup Taxi Stand up Paddle Board Carrier, part number TH810. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle we will begin our test fit by placing the carrier up onto the front bar. We will bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the front bar and hook them into the connection points. We can then turn the grey knob to tighten on the straps. We will then repeat this process for the rear part of the carrier. Now with everything all tightened down and secure we are ready to load up our paddle board. We will push out on the silver side plate and pull out on the silver plate with the Thule logo. more

We'll bring the rubber coated strap around the bar, fitting it back into the foot of the carrier, and then using the little hand knob to secure it in place. We'll repeat that process for the other side. We'll grab the other half of our carrier and place it onto our rear bar. It's important that we have both halves of our carrier lined up with each other when hauling our gear. Once we have it in place, we can repeat the same tightening process that we used at the front. We'll undo our straps and throw them over to the other side of the vehicle. We'll grab our paddle board and place it onto our carrier. more
